This vision to create an upscale Malay restaurant embodies the concept of a fine Malay theatre restaurant offering a slice of the Malay heritage in terms of cuisine, decor, music, art and the Malay theatre tradition, housed within a building that is architecturally traditional.

In the midst of tremendous development in the hospitality and service industry, there is not a single Malay restaurant that can service high level corporate and business functions. This is all the more amiss as the Malay heritage and history form the backbone of the country.

This theatre restaurant serves two purpose. One, it is the place to feast on authentic gourmet Malay cuisine. Two, it is the cultural induction centre for foreigners and locals alike. A taste of local culture for the foreigners and reaffirms local heritage and roots for the locals.
